Purpose:

This position will report to and work alongside the Executive Reward Director, as well as the SVP, Reward and other members of the Reward team. The role will have close working relationships with Group Finance, Investor Relations, Company Secretarial, Global Mobility and Share Plans teams.

The role will require a keen work ethic, commercial awareness and an ability to use data to draw conclusions and present results. These experiences will help build your technical knowledge and overall subject matter expertise as well as confidence and project management skills in dealing with multiple stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities & Deliverables:

Assist throughout yearly remuneration committee and Annual General Meeting cycle, preparing first draft papers, working materials and backup analyses

Interpret the directions and support the Executive Reward Director partner on conducting analysis for target setting, remuneration benchmarking and valuation of benefits and equity awards

Perform industry and financial research related to compensation strategy and design

Identify best practices and emerging trends in executive compensation; to include regulatory, legislative and shareholder developments and identify issues that impact compensation strategy and design

Provide support for the assessment, design, implementation as well as administration of compensation and rewards programs and policies for senior executives

Develop pay structures and incentive designs that help support business strategy

Gather data and prepare survey submissions for participation in various external salary compensation surveys

Maintains strategic metrics dashboard by updating for each Board meeting, working with Group FInance

Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes

Partner on other projects as assigned

Qualifications

Competencies:

Essential:

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Data mining, data analysis, number crunching

Engages in analytic and pragmatic problem solving- makes suggestions and provides information to aid decision making

Ability to see the broader picture and how reward fits into business strategy

Exhibits learning agility and active knowledge seeking along with a working knowledge of industry standards

Excellent organisational ability, time management, prioritisation and planning skills. Must be able to manage multiple projects and project components with inter-related asset and timing dependencies

Highly active ownership -carry out assignments with minimal supervision

Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Core Technical/Functional Competencies:

Essential:

Proficient in Microsoft Office; particularly Excel

Basic knowledge of accounting ratios and how to read financial statements

Helpful:

Experience using Adobe InCopy

Education, Qualifications & Training

Essential:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification

Previous Experience

Essential:

Previous experience in executive reward analysis

Helpful:

Experience of UK executive remuneration regulation and remuneration committee work for listed companies

Understanding and experience of share plans administration

Experience of collaborating with mobility teams on support for mobile senior executives
