Female Healthcare Assistant – Women’s Low Secure IPU - Female Applicants Only

Hours: 37.5 hours per week 

The Women’s Low Secure IPU is looking for individuals who will like to gain experience  as Healthcare Assistants working in a Mental Healthcare setting or they already have experience by they want to improve knowledge and skills working in low secure settings and locked rehabilitation wards.

We offer services that are specially designed for women over the age of 18 with Mental Health, Personality Disorders and challenging behaviour. The pathway provides low secure, locked and open units. The Units are aligned along sub-pathways for Personality Disorder, Psychosis and related illnesses and rehabilitation. Our facilities, activities, therapies and services are designed with women in mind.

We have a number of exciting opportunities for Female Healthcare Assistants as well as working as part of multidisciplinary team there are training and career progression opportunities that can help individual fulfil their potential.  The role can be quite active and challenging and we would therefore require you to be physically fit. Applications are welcomed from well-motivated individuals who are resilient, flexible and are able to demonstrate high standards of care. Individual will need to possess good communication skills alongside good IT literacy.  You will need to have resilience to work in a secure healthcare setting and this will help you meet the challenges and expectations of working as a Healthcare Assistant
