The Role

Due to ongoing growth we are currently recruiting a Finance Administrator to join our Cash Office team.


You will assist with:


  • all aspects of claims against insurance funding polices, including but not limited to:
    • Checking the portal for new policies
    • Maintaining internal spreadsheets
    • Submitting portal and paper claims
    • Billing approved claims
    • Monitoring level of claims against cover and reporting back to fee earners where increases may be needed
    • Chasing fee earners for payment of incurred disbursements.
  • Closing down matters.
  • Staff expenses.
  • Ad hoc accounts related queries.
  • WIP write offs/reallocations.


You will ideally:

  • Have previous accounts or administrative experience
  • Be hard working with good analytical and organisational skills to manage and prioritise a busy workload
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be comfortable working to deadlines and targets
  • Have the ability to deal with internal and external contacts at all levels
  • Possess excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products, such as Excel.


This is a new role so there is likely to be scope to grow and take on new tasks, including legal cashiering, in the future.
