Job Description

Our client is a leading player in the disaster recovery / business continuity sector, working within the print industry. Known for delivering strong commercial performance and offering the highest quality solutions in this niche sector, this business has a solid, profitable, foundation from which to grow and develop further.

The Job:

Taking over the reigns of a successful and robust business, the General Manager will be responsible for:

Delivering a highly innovative and reputable service delivery for existing clients;

Manage and oversee the implementation of production improvements, ensuring best practice and lean manufacturing methodologies are utilised.
Cultivate a positive site culture, engaging with colleagues to drive innovation, develop new solutions in a safe and compliant environment.
Develop relationships with stakeholders across the wider business.
Lead the sales management team. Engage with new prospects and opportunities to widen the breadth of services, encourage development of existing client partnerships and drive EBIT performance.
Maintain tight financial controls to achieve budget performance.

 

About You:

 

Ideally, you have demonstrable skills in the following areas:

 

Enviable network in the print production and data driven customer communications sector.
Previous experience managing a production facility and team.
A natural relationship builder, able to identify and pursue business opportunities within the sector;
Financially astute, familiar with forecasting, managing budgets and driving performance;
Self-starter, able to self-motivate and work with limited direction.
