About the job
The Subject Advisor has accountability for both external and internal customer service delivery for a designated subject(s) or sector(s). A key priority for this post is to support teachers adopting our new Geography qualifications and services.

What we are looking for
The role of the Subject Advisor for Geography requires a good understanding of the Education system and the role of the teacher/tutor/assessor within secondary schools, FE and training centres.
Ideally you will be qualified to degree level in Geography, or a related field. You will have experience of delivering academic qualifications and/or vocational qualifications in this subject and an understanding of delivering BTEC qualifications is desirable (but not essential).
In addition, the role requires a working knowledge of the subject area, as well as an understanding that changes within the sector, such as to the curriculum and legislation, mean that centres require frequent updates. An understanding of Travel and Tourism qualifications would also be also be desirable.#LI-KT1
