Responsible for Enterprise content management that is used across Thomson Reuters Financial business with specific focus on exchange and non equities markets. This includes prioritization of data to be collected by Thomson Reuters, Strategic relationships with key content providers (Exchanges, brokers etc.). Determining the content response to regulatory opportunities (MiFID II etc.) and managing key relationships in delivering to these strategies.

Determining the content response to regulatory opportunities (MiFID II etc.) and managing key relationships in delivering to these strategies. 

Cross asset content

  • Chair and run the RTGB meeting with appropriate stakeholders and reporting to ELT on priorities
  • Along with other team members develop a joined up spectrum of delivery options for customers across feeds and platform to enable different customer types and meet different quality of service requirements:
  • Low latency, Realtime, Non-Realtime and Timeseries packages of content
  • Deployed, deployed/managed, and hosted/managed platform options
  • Ensure that detailed and regularly updated roadmaps are provided including, milestones and monthly RAG reports updating progress against agreed targets. 
  • In partnership with proposition, define a single data model selecting from the venue which fields and content we need to carry from that feed to meet customer requirements, over time drive automation of this process. 
  • Chairing venue calls to ensure development, content operations and networking are working on uniform plan
  • Define and drive toward explicit KPI’s 
  • Building a product pitch to outline value to venues of partnering with TR on a commercial feed
  • Working with clients to pitch the attributes and the plans to aggregate feeds with roadmap and release timelines
  • Working with proposition team on commercial framework
  • Working with development to execute on onboarding process
  • Work with proposition to develop cross-asset workflow systems leveraging Enterprise Capabilities, examples might include real-time analytics for best execution, TCA and Systematic Internalizer Threshold Calculations

Regulatory Products (MiFID 2 etc.)

  • Content and product lead for MiFID II 
  • Accountable Proposition Owner for onboarding all venues across Europe
  • Accountable Proposition Owner for APA (Approved publication arrangement) proposition: 
  • Work with Tradeweb to ensure that our joint proposition is market leader 
  • Along with other leaders, represent TR in Industry wide forums and working groups relating to MiFID II 
  • Lead client interaction at senior level
  • Coordinate internal response/sales campaign on TR services
  • Represent TR with regulator meetings
  • Lead SME on regulatory updates working out impact to our workstreams
  • Lead town halls and regular updates with GTM

Inter-Dealer Brokers Strategy

  • Build and enhance our strategic relation with all IDB’s globally. Identifying new opportunities to grow revenue and position ourselves in the customer workflow 
  • Prioritizing IDB strategic work ensuring and communicating back transparency of resources and resource utilization to client and Proposition teams.
  • Work with front line teams to promote the broker packages and support ongoing engagement. 

Remedy

  • Provide product management leadership to the Remedy proposition (providing access to EC compliance look up capabilities.

Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities: 

  • Leads product management for Enterprise Content across F&R. Ongoing optimization of the product and content portfolio to achieve commercial and strategic goals of the business. 
  • Articulation to internal and external stakeholders on the strategy and roadmap. End-to-end management of product and content portfolio on a global basis across all relevant Thomson
  • Reuters functions.
  • Drive innovation and differentiation across new and existing content & product lines to both better address current and future client needs.
  • Make strategic trade-offs to provide quality content & products on schedule.
  • Influence client communications and go to market strategies for new product developments and
  • enhancements.
  • Assess whether goals are best accomplished by building, buying or entering into partnership in order to address market/technical requirements, alongside time-to-market considerations.
  • Support business teams as required for key internal executive and client presentations and strategy updates.
  • Ensure communication and cross-group collaboration including client requirement vetting and
  • feedback gathering on new and existing content & products.
  • Drive product and technology integration and represent segment on strategic initiatives, including
  • business planning and budgeting to challenge, grow and upgrade the product organization.
  • Responsible for reviewing current products to ensure that quality and currency are being maintained.
  • Strongly aligned to Proposition Leads (e.g. John Mason on Regulatory markets) and to take high-level business requirements and turn them into detailed product and content specifications.

Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to establish broad cross-proposition vision and take ideas from concept through to successful release/lifecycle management.
  • Ability to understand and interpret fundamental workings and trends within a target industry. 
  • Ability to drive a direct and indirect team to execute proposition or product strategy.
  • Superior client and partner engagement skills, including proven ability to build and manage senior client and partners relationships.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex ideas to internal and external stakeholders. Ability to influence and drive change.
  • Lead business planning and budgeting exercises.
  • Attract, develop and retain high quality talent.
  • Manage a diversified portfolio across multiple segments propositions.

Education/ Certifications: 

  • University degree required
  • Advanced degree a plus
  • Strong track record of end-to-end product delivery on multiple complex projects involving global, cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand commercial, technological and strategic drivers in order to execute strategy.
  • Significant industry and/or senior product management experience involving more than one major/discrete target client segment.
  • Demonstrated prior experience setting and executing on the strategy for a portfolio of products
  • Prior experience establishing and managing significant 3rd party relationships including suppliers is preferred
  • Prior P&L experience preferred.
