In this senior and instrumental role, you will help shape the organisation’s transformation journey.
You will work with the most senior level of the organisation to set the direction for change and transformation to ensure we deliver on our vision to be a modern, agile and professional authority – digitally and data enabled, with the skills and capability to operate at pace, respond to challenges, and to do our jobs well.
You will be responsible for strategic management of the organisation’s business improvement agenda, including developing a Transformation Strategy.
Your role is a key role in the Corporate Resources and Business Improvement Directorate. You will be part of the Directorate Leadership Team (DLT), and will coordinate change activity across the organisation and the directorate’s units, including People Function, Digital Experience and Facilities Management.
To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience of working in transformation, change or continuous improvement, leading portfolios, programmes or projects in a complex organisation.

The Corporate Resources and Business Improvement Directorate provides corporate support to the Mayor and the Assembly and is responsible for the following functions:
People Function
Facilities Management
Digital Experience Unit and Technology Group
Information Governance
Executive Support Team
Leadership of all our shared services across the GLA group
Your role reports directly to the Executive Director. You will matrix manage and provide leadership to resources as needed, working closely with DLT colleagues, the Directorate’s Performance and Collaboration team, the organisation’s programme and project management community, and partner organisations.
