Job Description

The Head of Estates should have these key skills:  

An inspirational and inclusive leader with the ability to influence others and be an ambassador for the Estates function across the wider business  

The ability to enthusiastically lead and motivate an Estates team in a dynamic transformational environment  

Able to build meaningful relationships with inter-departmental stakeholders, gaining respect and buy in at all levels  

Experience of developing and implementing estates strategy, policies and procedures 

An Estates and property professional qualification  

You will identify with our Adaptable, Bold & Curious corporate behaviours and will role model these within your team  


In your first six months you will:  

Lead in our Estates vision to provide great places to work which are modern, innovative, and flexible workspace environments tat drive collaboration, curiosity and innovation 

Reporting to our Director of People Transformation, you will be responsible for leading estates and facilities management activity in Companies House  

Develop Capital Estates & Facilities requirements in the annual planning cycle, create a future pipeline of strategic capital investment to meet Companies House objectives. 

Influence key business discussions and decisions related to Companies House estates portfolio. You will play a key role in driving collaboration between policy and delivery. 

Ensure business recovery solutions and emergency responses are implemented and fit for purpose, meeting the recovery requirements of critical business processes  

Managing large and cross-organisation budgets
