Job Description

Head of Macmillan Services, Wales
Permanent
£65,000 - £75,000

As Head of Macmillan Services for Wales you will provide inspirational leadership to the team and build senior strategic partnerships and collaborations across your geographical area. You will also be accountable for the development, and delivery of the Strategy for your region; ensuring it is aligned to our Corporate Strategy and UK processes for improvement, innovation and policy development.

Exceptional influencing and relationship management skills are an essential part of this role as you will own key relationships with senior NHS and Local Authority executives, the Welsh Government, as well as Macmillan Professionals, volunteers and people affected by cancer.

Your high level experience of strategy development will allow you to develop and implement, in partnership with teams and stakeholders across Macmillan and externally, a strongly data driven geographic strategy that puts people affected by cancer at the core of what Macmillan does. You will then translate this strategy into an operational plan and budget that delivers the agreed outcomes.

In the position of Head of Macmillan Services you will play a major part in ensuring that our big ambition becomes a reality.

Initial telephone interviews will be held the week commencing 29 September. Assessments will be on 9 or 10 October.
