We’re looking for someone with strong inter-personal skills who enjoys working in a delivery focused, agile environment and who is able to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, including through formal PFI contract arrangements, to ensure the future delivery strategy for Main Building provides for the physical management of the MOD Head Office and Main Building (Department of State and Strategic Military Headquarters).
You will have proven leadership skills in managing large stakeholder groups, introducing and managing change programmes and supporting staff through periods of uncertainty. We’re looking for someone flexible, dynamic and proactive, with excellent communication, diplomatic and influencing skills and able to work with senior military and civilian staffs in a fast moving, high profile and demanding environment.
You will lead teams responsible for meeting accommodation, safety, security and IS/IM requirements within Head Office, working closely with functional leads and the occupying business units. As Head Office organisation and governance are changed (as a result of planned Defence Operating Model changes) you will lead your teams to develop new or adapt existing approaches, seeking continuous improvement to the level of support provided to the business.
You will be an important part of the Directorate’s senior leadership team and will be expected to help lead work across the Directorate as part of the SLT.
