Health Data Analyst
Fixed Term (2 years)
£32,000 - £36,000
As Health Data Analyst, you’ll manipulate, summarise and analyse health and social care data using a variety of statistical methods, including the use of mathematical and statistical modelling; develop appropriate research briefs; report findings in a variety of formats to different audiences; write reports for internal and external audiences in ways that make complex data easy to understand; provide insights and intelligence that informs strategy and policy development. You will also be expected to contribute ideas, and/or enhancement of techniques or methodologies relevant to the project(s).
It’s essential that you have experience of performing data analysis using statistical software (ideally R) and be willing to learn and apply new and unfamiliar statistical methods. Your communication skills are excellent – particularly around simplifying the complex for non-specialist audiences and the ability to identify key messages appropriate to every audience and situation – and ideally you also have experience in a role where the emphasis was on analysing and interpreting health or social-related data.
And in return for all you do for us? We commit to actively developing you and offer excellent benefits including include private medical insurance, life assurance, pension, childcare vouchers, generous leave, and interest free loans for season ticket and gym membership.#
