What is the role?
Furthering your already impressive career in the evidence and insight industry, you will provide strong leadership to a team of highly successful and ambitious health data analysts, oversee the development and delivery of routine and innovative packages of analysis on the UK cancer population from brief to delivery.
You will manage and develop critical partnerships to enable this, collaborate with and contribute to the data and insight community across Macmillan to ensure the best use of data capability and support Macmillan’s strategic direction and strategy measurement.
This role will give you the opportunity to influence and learn from senior leaders within and outside Macmillan.
Who are we looking for?
It’s essential you have a proven track record of translating strategic need into pipelines of high quality robust analytic products as well as excellent technical, leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. You must also have had significant experience in a role where the emphasis was on analysing and interpreting social or health-related data as well as an understanding of the current information governance environment.
We would also be particularly pleased to receive applications from established job share partners or paired applications.
Our ambition is to reach and improve the lives of everyone affected by cancer and inspire millions to do the same. With the 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer now predicted to increase to 4 million by 2030, it’s a very challenging ambition that demands we use evidence and insight to increase our understanding of the 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK, their needs, experiences in order to deliver this ambition.
You will have a vital role in ensuring that this happens.
