This is a new position within the Organisational Risk and Resilience team, based out of our London Global HQ. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial experience, be a self-starter, strong team member and able to brief with comfort to mid management.

Who are we looking for?

The new team member will be able to work in diverse environments, recognizing our organisation’s journey to digital, planning with current and future risks in mind. As part of an experienced, global and supportive team, you will be asked to cover a range of locations and business areas.

Main activities:

  • Health & Safety:

o Engage with all key internal and external stakeholders across the UK and EMEIA region to continually improve health, safety, resilience performance objectives and organisation culture.

o Support the implementation of the health and safety strategy via an assurance program and the management of corrective action systems.

o Provide specialist guidance and training to ensure compliance with regional legal and policy requirements.

  • Business Resilience:

o Manage UK BCMSs, maintaining certification against global BC standard ISO 22301.

o Ensure alignment to and compliance with our global BCM policy and programme in the UK and EMEIA. This will include managing risk and business impact analysis, BCPs, DRPs, testing and exercising DR and work area recovery plans. The candidate will also audit external suppliers against their BCP readiness.

o Strong stakeholder management and report writing.

  • Risk Management Systems:

o Support the administration and team data input requirements, with acute attention to detail

o Provide data analysis and trend advice

o Be part of reportage for the Board and quarterly for the various business lines.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience :

  • The ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, supporting them to deliver their responsibilities around safety, resilience and risk management.
  • Experience of implementing ISO standards.
  • Competent MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Current knowledge of relevant UK EMEIA legislation.
  • Awareness of and aptitude to undertake risk modelling and reporting.
  • Experience in performing ‘hands-on’ BCM/ITDR reviews and assessments of business operations.
  • The role will require travel throughout the UK and locations in Europe.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent workplace experience and commercial skills.
  • Membership of a recognised Business Continuity Association/Institute.
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) level qualification in Health & Safety.
  • GradIOSH (or equivalent), ideally working towards Chartered Member of IOSH.
