At Queens Cross HA we are launching a new service in April to support older people in our community to live independently, in their own homes, with additional support when needed. Key to our new service will be a dedicated Activity Coordinator who will be responsible for arranging and ensuring the delivery of a varied and comprehensive programme of activities for older people that encourages engagement, promotes health and wellbeing and tackles social isolation. You will also be expected to initiate and develop the necessary partnerships to underpin this approach.
We have a new Hub that will be the focus of these activities and, as Coordinator, you will be responsible for shaping and planning the services and activities provided. There are also other community facilities that you can access for local events and activities.
You will work as part of a team of 16 delivering services to older people and in partnership with colleagues across the Association, volunteers and other agencies.
