From £16,485 plus enhancements (Career Level: Primary Contributors - Band 2)
Full time - 37.5 hours per week
Our Dementia and Huntington’s disease (HD) IPU consists of 7 locked wards for male and female patients from across the UK. Our Dementia service provides cognitive, physical and behavioural management of patients with a progressive neurological condition. Our HD services provide psychiatric, cognitive and motor deficit management of patients. Our therapies and interventions are delivered through a highly skilled multi- disciplinary team consisting of medical, psychology, occupational therapy, social work, physiotherapy, nutrition and dietetics, physical health and speech and language provision. Adopting an integrated approach to service delivery, we ensure that the care we provide is personalised addressing both mental and physical health conditions

Your role with us
Healthcare Assistants work in all areas of our Clinical Services, supporting staff teams in delivering and focusing on our Patients and their rehabilitation, daily activities and care. The role can be quite active and we would therefore require you to be able to cope with the demands of an active post.
Applications are welcomed from well-motivated individuals who are flexible, able to demonstrate high standards of care and who possess excellent written and verbal communication skills alongside good IT literacy. You will need to have resilience to work in a secure healthcare setting and this will help you meet the challenges and expectations of working as a Healthcare Assistant.
The role can be quite active and we would therefore require you to be able to cope with the demands of an active post.
