Our Neuropsychiatry Pathway offers unrivalled care, treatment and rehabilitation for adults and older adults with challenging behaviour and complex needs that is recognised for being at the forefront of innovative service developments, for its excellence in service delivery and rehabilitation practice, and for its ability to manage and reduce aggressive behaviour. Currently running at record occupancy levels, we have a team of over 400 dedicated full-time staff from 16 disciplines working across 12 wards and 3 houses.
We have a number of exciting opportunities for Healthcare Assistants to work within the Dementia Pathway of our service, supporting staff teams in delivering and focusing on our Patients and their rehabilitation, daily activities and care. The role can be quite active and we would therefore require you to be physically fit. Knowledge and experience of working with this patient group would be an advantage but not a requirement.
Applications are welcomed from well-motivated individuals who are flexible, able to demonstrate high standards of care and who possess good communication skills alongside good IT literacy.
We have a great ‘Learning through Work’ training programme, which will help people with or without experience in healthcare become true professionals within the Healthcare Assistant role. Successful completion of the programme will enable access to further progression and development opportunities within the Charity.
