Healthcare Assistant – Men's Mental Health: Locked and Low Secure
Location: Northampton
Salary: From £16,486 per annum including clinical allowance
Hours: 37.5 per week
 
The Men’s Locked and Low Secure IPU is made up of four wards situated across the Northampton site.  Three of our wards offer enhanced rehabilitation for working aged males with complex mental health issues with the forth offering support for males with enduring mental illnesses . The men’s low secure IPU will work with you to meet and exceed your own career aspirations while providing an opportunity to trial new and exciting approaches to mental health care.

Your role with us
 
Healthcare assistants work in all areas of our Clinical Services, supporting staff teams in delivering and focusing on our Patients and their rehabilitation, daily activities and care. The role can be quite active and we would therefore require you to be able to cope with the demands of an active post.
 
Your profile
 
Applications are welcomed from well-motivated individuals who are flexible, able to demonstrate high standards of care and who possess excellent written and verbal communication skills alongside good IT literacy. You will need to have resilience to work in a secure healthcare setting and this will help you meet the challenges and expectations of working as a Healthcare Assistant.
