We are seeking to recruit a Housekeeping Porter to support our Central services and Clinical Teams within our Estate and Facilities Directorate.
The role encompasses general portering duties which include the movement of furniture and equipment throughout the Hospital, Delivery of food, laundry and post, waste collection and disposal. Although this list is not exhaustive it indicates the level of manual handling required for the post.
Your responsibilities will include delivery and collection of the internal Laundry Service within our grounds. You will ensure that prescribed vehicle checks are regularly completed
You will possess good organisational skills and be able to prioritise your workload and work on your own initiative. You should be well presented with good communication skills and a friendly and helpful manner.
You will also have the ability to remain calm under pressure, be adaptable and work as part of a team. You must possess a full driving licence code D or D1 preferred, never have been disqualified and be over 21 (for insurance purposes.)
