It is an exciting time to be working in the HR Information and Systems team. A Programme of optimisation is underway and expected to span over 3 to 5 years; the programme will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the services provided by HR through enhancing systems, processes and procedures.

The Programme has included the procuring of a new e-recruitment application, the implementation of WebView for our HR/Payroll System ResourceLink, the introduction of additional functionality for ResourceLink to cover employee and manager self-service. Future developments will include online employee career development records in addition to streamlining employee processes through systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the LSE during a period of significant change where you will be part of system development and process improvements. The successful candidate will be working with stakeholders to improve the availability and quality of data to assist the School with its strategic objectives.

We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced HR/Payroll system professional to join our HR Information & Systems team. This is an opportunity to make a real impact in a diverse and interesting environment and contribute your skills and experience within an established, high-performing team.

This HR information and systems role will appeal to you if you are proficient at and enjoy working with HR systems and providing management information to help underpin and improve decision-making. You will take an active role in the implementation of reporting developments and other systems projects across the School.

The ideal candidate will have relevant work experience, which will include HR, IT, and/or payroll. Flexibility, strengths in analysis and maximising the usage of data and software to produce customer-focused outcomes are essential. Current knowledge of Northgate’s ResourceLink HR and the Business Objects reporting tool are highly desirable.

You will be a strong self-motivator with excellent IT, written and verbal communication skills with a positive customer services ethos. You will have a supportive team around you but you will need to be versatile, adaptable, resilient and solutions focused. As an effective relationship builder you will be comfortable working within a complex environment with the ability to thrive under pressure.
