Job Description

What is the role?
You will support our Support Line Services (SLS) Division, a large and complex business area. Support Line Services is the area of our organisation that provides frontline advice, guidance, support or sometimes just a listening ear to people living with cancer and brings to line our aim of ‘whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you’.

Partnering with the Director of SLS and Senior Leaders, you will help deliver the organisational strategy through the delivery of people plans for SLS that align with wider organisational strategy. Using your technical and experiential knowledge and insights, you will help shape our org-wide HR plan. You will provide proactive and innovative solutions to business issues and lead on HR element of the business area’s change agenda.

Who are we looking for?
You are an experienced, dynamic, forward thinking strategic business partner who has a strong understanding across a broad spectrum of HR specialisms and functions. You have a proven ability to build effective working relationships with senior leaders; offering strategic insight, coaching and challenge as appropriate.

You have a broad knowledge of organisational design principles and aligning design within a business to an operating model. Your significant experience of HR legislation, consultation and change combined with proven experience of using data and insight to influence decision making will make you a strong candidate.

Location and Travel
This role will be based in Shipley and will also require regular travel to London, where our central HR team is based, to attend monthly meetings and participate in another key HR activity.
