It’s a great opportunity to play a key part in supporting delivery of Change programmes at Macmillan by providing HR operational support to the Business Partnering and Change team. This will involve a range of activities including maintaining systems and processes to accurately track changes, ensuring that any changes to terms are accurately reflected in our systems, supporting various aspects of consultation as needed, responding to a high volume of queries and managing our dedicated change inbox. You'll also need to manage high volumes of mail merge activity and work collaboratively with colleagues in the Operations team to ensure change related activity is accurately processed.
In essence, you will be responsible for the coordination work that ensures the smooth operation of the implementation of organisational change. As a member of the wider HR team, you'll also have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of HR projects and initiatives.
Success in such a busy and wide-ranging role demands solid IT skills, a proactive approach, and exceptional planning and organisational skills to manage multiple strands of work to meet tight and conflicting deadlines. Accuracy, attention for detail and professionalism are naturally of key importance in this environment - as are the well-developed communication, relationship management and assertiveness skills to handle sensitive issues and to give advice and information with confidence and discretion.
