Would you like to make a real impact in a HR system IT support service role? We are looking for a HR Systems Executives to join us on a temporary basis to support HM Land Registry’s Oracle Fusion cloud-based HR system.

Job Description

In this role you will analyse system change, devise and test configured solutions and produce comprehensive change-management plans for their introduction into the organisation.

You will provide expert advice and support to the business for two or more of the HR components of the Fusion system, namely time and attendance, core HR, payroll interfaces and Oracle service cloud. You will develop an in-depth understanding of how Fusion handles data, business rules and workflows and their inter-dependency with the rest of the integrated solution.

Working closely with members of the Fusion Support Team, stakeholders, suppliers and users, you will resolve and escalate issues and assess impact of impending upgrades and patches. You will also provide timely workarounds or interventions to resolve any problems encountered with the interfaces from Fusion to the payroll system to meet payroll deadlines.

A key part of the role will be troubleshooting and resolving system issues and defects by working within the established processes ITIL for IT incident and problem management. By assessing the impact of proposed change on the solution, you will devise and execute plans for the configuration, testing and implementation using the established processes for systems test and IT change management. You will also take ownership of maintaining system and business process documentation, guidance and training materials in line with changes to Fusion and provide system training to back office and end users.

Successful candidates will be required to work at our Nottingham office, where the HR Fusion Support Team are located. However, due to Covid-19, the role will initially be home based so an induction and training will be carried out remotely, with full support from the HR Fusion Support Team Manager and the wider team.

You will need to have sound technical experience of IT in a HR/customer service environment or configuring IT systems, including experience of developing an IT solution for HR or Time and Attendance as well as maintaining and developing the configuration of a major HR software system. You will possess the ability to develop sound knowledge of how Oracle Fusion works and be a competent experienced user of the range of IT tools relevant to the job, such as Microsoft.

You will be proficient in analysing information and applying critical thinking to determine suitable solutions and be able to comprehend and describe business processes or rules in a way an IT developer would understand. You will be able to design and execute thorough system testing. You will also be customer focused with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain clear and effective documentation.
