Job Description

Forget behind the scenes support – you’ll be at the forefront.

London £27,586  pro rata (includes £5,500 London pay addition and concessionary pay)

Cheltenham pro rata £22,086 (including concessionary pay)

Without our IT support services, we couldn’t keep the country safe. Now, you have the chance to become part of that. You’ll offer IT support and help to colleagues around the business, as their first friendly point of contact – in person, over the phone or via email or online chat. So it’s really important to reassure people, solve their problems quickly and help our business to run smoothly.

But we don’t expect you to know everything from day one. If you’re a great communicator and love dealing with customers, you’ll receive comprehensive training on a variety of IT applications and administration tools. We’ll even give you the chance to gain a formal qualification. You’ll also learn about the work of the intelligence services. Surrounded by people who want to help, you’ll quickly get to grips with things.

All we need from you is at least 2 GCSEs (in Maths and English) grade 5 or above (A-C grades); or O-Level grade A-C; or equivalent.

If you have impressive customer service skills, some experience of using IT applications and an enthusiasm for learning and developing, we’ll teach you the rest.
