Our IT systems are at the heart of everything we do so it’s vital they’re always performing at their optimum level.
As IT Officer you’ll monitor the IT system service centre incident log and resolve issues with our computers, printers, copiers, scanners and telephony that are reported to our incident log, escalating them where necessary. Reporting to the IT Manager, you’ll cover both hardware and software issues, including operation systems and a range of applications, across our offices in London, Cardiff and Edinburgh. You’ll install and configure new equipment, upgrade existing kit, track all hardware and install and configure Windows Servers on the Hyper V environment. And you’ll take ownership of systems like Antivirus, Printing and WDS servers and of the distribution and preparation of our event hardwarde, like iZettle.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to a wealth of systems and software, as well as to acquire invaluable diagnostic knowledge.
To join us, you’ll need to be educated to A Level (or equivalent) standard, or higher, obtaining A-C in Computer Science, and have 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role. An enthusiastic self-starter capable of managing your own workload and setting priorities, you’ll also be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people. If you’ve knowledge of SQL, Powershell and Sharepoint and an awareness of second line support, so much the better.
