Junior Java Software Engineer (Java, AWS or Azure, MySQL, MongoDB, Kubernetes): up to £39,285, 27% pension, 60% home working, flexi time

DWP are looking for Junior Java Engineers to help us compile, build and deploy software services that work for us and for our millions of users.

Your Skills / Our Stack

• Knowledge and experience of Java.
  
  * Awareness of cloud based environments like AWS and Azure.
  
  * Awareness of TDD and BDD.
  
  * Knowledge and experience of SQL and noSQL database applications such as Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  
  * Awareness of Containerisation - tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  
  * Awareness of how to build robust automated test suites to support a continuous deployment environment.
  
  * Understanding/experience of APIs, RESTful services and Microservice Architectures.
