Our Australian Schools Division is looking to appoint an experienced and results focused individual to the position of Key Account Manager.

Reporting into the National Primary Sales Manager, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving Pearson sales to deliver revenue growth through continued increased market share. You will be provided with a laptop and mobile phone to use for work-related activities as well as a fully maintained vehicle including all on-road costs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop sales strategies aligned with the strategic direction of Pearson and local business objectives
  • Manage and deliver the Sales and Gross Margin Targets as determined by the regional business plan.
  • Research and develop sales channels and new opportunities in the region.
  • Develop goals to strengthen market position and improve profitability
  • Drive the vision for the sales of all Pearson products and services
  • Maintain a solid understanding of the market trends and customer needs

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of, or experience in the Schools Education market is preferred but not essential
  • You will hold a Tertiary qualification
  • Proven sales experience will be highly regarded
  • Current driver’s license (mandatory)
  • Working with Children Check to be completed, if not held already
  • Ability to travel
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
