About our Group Legal and Governance division
In Group Legal and Governance we use our expertise to help the organisation make decisions that are right for Which? and consumers. In Group Legal we provide a full range of in-house legal support from consumer rights, libel and litigation through to general commercial and data privacy.
About the role
We are seeking an in-house Legal Operations Lawyer / Specialist to help us optimise the delivery of legal services to the organisation.
You will work alongside our Principal Legal Counsel - Innovation and Operations to help create processes and documentation, implement systems and practices, and define plans, deliver initiatives and support projects, to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the Group Legal team, facilitate change and empower the business. You'll also support on all aspects of day-to-day legal operations including drafting requests for proposals, assisting in the selection of external vendors and counsel, and building our legal knowhow through the creation of legal templates and providing training for business users.

You will have a good understanding of legal operations and process and change management, coupled with a passion for innovation, efficiency and continuous improvement. You will be confident using technology, and exploring how it can contribute to efficiency and user experience.
You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to simplify complexity and to devise and implement creative solutions to issues, and a proven track record of collaborating to achieve results. You will have a positive and proactive approach, a strong sense of personal responsibility and be highly organised, capable of effectively managing workload and expectations, and driving forward your matters. .
