The post-holder will contribute to both Department’s teaching (undergraduate and postgraduate) and research activities in the fields of Public Policy and Administration and Comparative Politics.
The candidate will be asked to teach GV477 Comparative Public Policy Change and may also be asked to teach on some of the following courses:
GV227 The Politics of Economic Policy
GV249 Research Design in Political Science
GV467 Introduction to Comparative Politics
GV4E9 Approaches and Issues in Public Policy and Administration
Candidates will have completed or be close to completing a PhD in Political Science or a closely related discipline by 1 September 2018. They will also have a developing research record in Political Science/Public Policy & Administration, possess excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrate excellent teaching skills.
