Managing Editor, Democratic Audit

 

£28,721 to £33,244 pa inclusive, with potential to progress to £35,768 pa inclusive of London Allowance (pro-rata)

(*Please note that appointments will be made at the bottom of the salary band)

 

This is a fixed term appointment to 31 July 2019 (19 months) and is part time for 18 hours per week.

 

Democratic Audit (DA) forms part of LSE Public Policy Group in the Government Department at LSE. DA is an applied research and advocacy unit, which seeks to measure the health and strength of UK democracy through a popular multi-author blog, in-house research, and providing improved voter information through projects such as the Democratic Dashboard. We are recruiting a new, part-time Managing Editor to carry forward the success of our popular blog, and to assist with other DA projects as appropriate.

 

Candidates should have experience in a media or politics/policy environment, an interest in and passion for UK democracy, and skills in social media and content promotion. The position is funded to 31 July 2019.
