Pearson University Partnerships work with companies and educational institutes to attract, convert, educate and retain online learners. We do this by providing a range of services including marketing, content development, learning design and enrolment services.

We are looking for a market researcher to join this dynamic, growing business unit on a 12 month contract. You will support all cross functional areas providing intelligence required to support their activities – from high level analysis of the general higher education landscape, down to very specific details of a given program that can inform marketing and operations. The Market Research Analyst will collect and analyse data using desktop research from multiple sources to find and extract relevant information for specific research briefs: surveys, government statistics, academic documents, internal systems and other published research.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Competitor Analysis - gathering key information about partner and competitor courses to support marketing efforts.
  • Monitor and analyse the market, global trends, regulatory and policy developments, and users providing actionable insight.
  • Research and reporting on the market size and demand factors for, and viability of, specific postgraduate courses.
  • Gathering key information about partner program to support all functions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in market research (quantitative and qualitative methods)
  • Bachelor degree in related discipline with a research component
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel as well as other analytical and business intelligence tools (Tableau). Adept with Google Analytics and CRM desirable.
  • Articulate and precise, and able to convincingly communicate research findings – written and verbal
  • Experience in education industry and/or services marketing sector
