Description

Position Overview

As an International Marketing Assistant, you will work with the Europe & Africa Marketing Manager looking after Pearson International Qualifications such as Edexcel, BTEC and LCCI.

The role will involve aligning and growing our social media presence, design and production of printed and digital marketing materials, organising international events, assisting on strategy, managing the database on SalesForce and producing email campaigns on Marketing Cloud.

The overall objective will be to retain our customer base and increase market share of international qualifications in our key regions.

You will also provide marketing administration support to the regional development managers.

Knowledge of using the Adobe Suite, particularly InDesign, and SalesForce Marketing Cloud is desirable as well as other european or african languages.

The role is part time, 3 days a week with flexible hours, based in Oxford - location can be flexible as well if necessary.

Position Responsibilities

Support the marketing manager in the planning and execution of the marketing campaigns with tasks such as:

  • Creating email communications with high quality content on Marketing Cloud
  • Maintaining our database up to date on Sales Cloud
  • Designing or amending creative assets for print and digital use
  • Managing our social media channels
  • Reporting on KPIs from emails, social media, feedback forms, etc.
  • Keeping track of our budget
  • Perform specific and ongoing competitor and market analysis.
  • Working with sales teams to update materials
  • Use our internal social platform to keep the regional teams up to date with latest activity.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written copywriting skills
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver work effectively when working on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Great team player who contributes to the team's goals and supports others
  • Creative, resourceful and a with a can-do-attitude
  • Able to do up to 2 international trips per year
