Job Description

This role will manage the Marketing Communications activities covering Brand, Communications and Digital Marketing. You will be responsible for day-to-day management of the Marketing Assistant and Internal Communications Manager as well as delivering the integrated marketing activities. The aim of the role is to develop brand recognition, deliver brand value, lead generation, and support commercial growth for EMCOR UK. 


Your main duties will include:

  • Supporting brand development ensuring consistency in delivery and messaging across all marketing communications.
  • Guiding internal stakeholder and supply chain partners to deliver consistent brand messaging and representation across all areas of the business
  • Ensuring consistency of brand and message and alignment of products and services across both marketing and tenders/ proposals
  • Managing the performance of EMCOR UK digital assets including the UK website and LinkedIn account, working alongside the US Marketing team to deliver digital presence in our chosen market sectors.
  • Own the planning, execution, and performance of our presence, sponsorship of industry events and EMCOR UK hosted activities
  • Support the wider Marketing & Business Development team, working closely with the Head of Product Marketing, to deliver multi-channel targeted customer marketing activities to drive commercial growth.
  • Supporting the Head of Product Marketing, to deliver the promotion of new products to market, tracking success.
  • Lead on the day-to-day management of external resource with all marketing agencies and freelancers, including PR, design, digital and print.
  • Taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the marketing and media budget.
  • Overseeing corporate communications, including proactive, reactive and crisis communications, working alongside the Executive Team and senior stakeholders when required.

Deliverables

  • Deliver the brand, communications and digital marketing plan aligned to the strategic marketing plan and EMCOR UKs vision of creating a better world at work
  • Lead all day-to-day PR and media engagement including press releases, reactive and proactive coverage, and crisis communications, working with the Executive Director for Marketing and Business Development, PR agency and EMCOR Group Marketing in the US.
  • Working alongside the Internal Communications Manager, identify and systemise marketing processes to improve performance and drive both internal and external engagement.
  • Develop and manage the team of marketing and communications specialists.
  • Oversee marketing supply chain relationships.
  • Oversee marketing expenditure in line with budget.

You will report directly to Executive Director of Marketing and Business Development on the following:

  • The performance of all brand, communications and digital marketing


Person Spec 

  • CIM Diploma in Marketing (DipM) and/or Marketing Degree
  • Experience developing and managing a brand with proven track-record in building brand awareness and recognition.
  • Strong copywriting, content, marketing, social media, email & digital marketing experience
  • Broad marketing management experience having previously worked at Senior Marketing Manager level
  • Proven people management skills and natural ability to lead, and develop teams
  • Ability to think strategically and direct effective project delivery
  • Strong planning and project management skills
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK (under current UK immigration rules)

Desirable

  • Full driving licence
  • Experience working with marketing automation software such as Pardot, and CRM platforms
