Job DescriptionMarketing Manager: Consultancy Services
St Andrew’s is the UK’s leading charitable provider of specialist mental healthcare. While predominantly a Midlands-based provider of NHS-funded care, our patients come from across the British Isles and even as far afield as Bermuda. Unlike other independent mental healthcare providers we are a charity and have no shareholders, which means we can reinvest all our surpluses into cutting edge, specialist services, state-of-the-art facilities and developing our experienced and dedicated staff.
The Role & Person
This role is an exciting opportunity to make your mark in helping achieve our vision of transforming lives by being a world-class provider of mental healthcare, a benchmark for excellence in the UK, and a favoured choice for the NHS. Traditionally focused on delivering highly specialised, hospital-based care to some of the most vulnerable and challenging patients, we are looking to expand our services to help all those suffering from poor mental health.
You will play a pivotal role in developing the Charity’s services to schools & universities, employers and more broadly to consumers capable of funding care themselves, often through private medical insurance. A key part of your role will be to continue to grow our award-winning services to the Criminal Justice system, notably our provision of medico-legal reports and mental healthcare to the probation services.
Consumer-focused and able to build strong, productive relationships, you will have an excellent track record for developing sales and marketing plans in line with corporate strategy, achieving pre-determined goals and objectives. Contributing to the strategic development of our Consultancy Services overall, you will identify key market segments, competitor provision, pricing & performance trends and relevant market environmental policies to develop and implement appropriate service development, pricing and demand generation plans.
The role will involve direct contact with customers, either in support of clinical and operational colleagues, or with full accountability for managing the customer relationship and our business with them. You will also manage a small, centralised Marketing Communications team, which supports the Charity more widely in the design, development and implementation of key marketing activities, including conferences and the utilisation of our CRM system.
Knowledge and experience of B2B in a regulated environment, ideally within healthcare, as well as of developing and implementing, low budget, direct to consumer digital marketing campaigns is essential. Previous mental healthcare marketing experience is highly desirable, as is experience in managing customer relationships. Previous experience in any of: Private Medical Insurance; Medico-Legal Reporting; the Criminal Justice System; or Education would be helpful.
This will be a challenging but rewarding role within Sales and Marketing, supporting our Consultancy Services team. Success in the role will help shape the future direction of the Charity and provide further opportunities for personal and career growth as we build our prominence in the UK Mental Health market.
