Are you an experienced medical devices safety officer looking for a new challenge? If yes, please read on!

You can achieve more at St Andrew’s Healthcare

A top 20 UK charity, St Andrew’s is a unique provider of specialist care in mental health and learning disability. We aspire to deliver truly world class, holistic services within our outstanding, modern facilities. Our independence means we can always put patients’ interests at the heart of decision making, while re-investing surpluses in frontline services.  We are transforming the Charity to deliver ‘Value Based Healthcare’.  This will ensure our patients consistently get the best possible outcomes and local teams gain more control and responsibility.

We're working on our physical health strategy to develop parity of esteem between mental health and physical healthcare. We’re committed to improving the quality and experience of physical healthcare across the Charity, and now we’re recruiting to this post, Medical Devices Safety Lead to help us deliver our vision!

The Role

We are looking for an experienced medical devices safety officer looking to lead on the design, implementation and monitoring of a new medical devices safety programme across the Charity.

We welcome applications from registered healthcare professionals currently not working within mental health services who have transferrable skills to support our agenda.
If you are ready for a challenging and very satisfying role, where you can lead service developments and make a real difference for patients, carers, families and staff, we would like to hear from you!

The successful candidate will be based at Headquarters, Northampton but will need to work flexibly to meet the needs of the whole charity; this will include some cross site working.

There’s no doubt that this is a demanding role working in a very fast paced environment, however for the right individual, this would be a very rewarding role and one which you could really make your own.

Reward

We offer an excellent benefits package including pension, 35 days holiday, sickness policy on par with NHS, life cover, car lease scheme, cycle to work scheme and opportunities for continuing professional development.

For an informal discussion about this opportunity, please contact James Farrelly, Senior Recruiter on 01604616624 or jcfarrelly @standrew.co.uk
