About the opportunity:
Meridium is the standard IT platform for the Corrosion Management Improvement Program (CMIP) and Global Reliability Improvement Program (G-RIP) and a key enabler for efficient and effective sustainment of CMIP and G-RIP.
We now have an excellent opportunity for a Meridium System Support Specialist, who will provide a combination of technical and business support and coordination for the sustainment of the Meridium platform for the downstream manufacturing sites in support of CMIP and G-RIP.
CMIP is a segment-wide program with an aspiration to achieve zero corrosion-related LOPCs in Downstream manufacturing. G-RIP is a refining-wide program that provides a framework of reliability processes to achieve and sustain Solomon Index Operational Availability performance of 96.4% by 2018 at all bp refineries.
This role will be part of the P&O bp Solutions Transformation and Integration organisation, and report to the Systems and Tools Discipline Manager in the Standardisation Unit. It will preferably be based in the United Kingdom - Sunbury or United States - Houston, but open to some flexibility in location.
