As a registered Health or Social care professional or someone with proven experience in a health or social care field related to the specialist provision of Cancer information and Support you will have excellent experience and skills to support people affected by cancer throughout their cancer journey.

The Macmillan Mobile Information and Support Service (MISS) provides free confidential information and support to anyone affected by cancer. Our Mobile Units visit High streets, communities, events and other venues to reach people providing expert support and signposting to local services.

You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and team working skills, a track record of working with Macmillan services, professionals and other partners across the region and a good understanding of local cancer services. You will be able to build effective relationships with local Macmillan Geographical teams, and other partners and understand the information support needs of a wide range of communities. In return for your enthusiastic commitment as a recognised Macmillan Professional we will support your learning and development, CPD and professional registration. We also offer excellent benefits including private medical insurance, life assurance, pension, childcare vouchers, generous annual leave, and interest free season ticket & gym membership loans.

A car allowance will be provided along with subsistence whilst travelling away from home. A full Driving Licence is essential.
