Job DescriptionMaintenance Multi Skilled CraftsmanBased: Mansfield Nottingham Career Level: Primary Contributors (Band 4)Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £19,209 - £24,039 per annum plus benefits depending on experience
Reporting to the Lead Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical, plumbing, joinery, and general maintenance works and repairs to ensure delivery of the in-house planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance tasks and new installations and minor project works at St Andrews Healthcare Northampton to set service level agreements.
The Maintenance Fitter will be expected to provide full support to the Estates & Facilities Service Department in undertaking maintenance and repair of mechanical plant and equipment and to be proactive in problem identification and resolution. You will also be responsible for completing weekly time sheets, Helpdesk job cards, PPM job cards and Plant room Inspection sheets as required by the Maintenance Supervisor. Personal compliance with all Health & Safety Regulations and maintaining a secure environment for service users & staff is expected at all times.
You will be expected to have a flexible approach to ensure tasks are completed and also take park in our on call system where you will be on call every other week .Generous on call allowances are paid currently £225.00 per week on top of your salary .
The ideal candidate will be a certified and apprentice trained Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, Plumber or joiner and have the relevant City & Guilds or BTEC qualifications in Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Plumbing or joineryWorking at St Andrew’s Healthcare
