Contribute to planning and executing UK PR campaigns for year-round publishing and brand campaigns
Using in-depth knowledge of GWR audiences and insights made available by the marketing team, execute elements within wider GWR brand and publishing campaigns as directed by Senior PR Manager.
Support Senior Publicist in identifying new opportunities by way of executing brand building activity with media partners, influencers and suitable events that match GWR’s brand and publishing strategy.
Work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders to produce PR adjudications and other PR content designed to generate positive publicity and brand awareness.
Prepare and write press materials, adhere to brand guidelines, devise call sheets, brief staff members and take the lead on relevant initiatives.
Support PR Director on internal comms on global brand building initiatives
Support International book licensees
Support Senior Publicist in day-to-day management of priority EMEA APAC book licensees (Germany, Australia, France, Italy, Spain and Denmark) during key selling period.
Ensure licensees & agencies are served with assets and associated materials, and that they are reporting on all PR activity.
GWR Press Office
Act as first point of contact for the GWR Press Office
Establish a triage system which dictates which enquiries are responded too, and which are priorities to respond to within 24 hours
Manage evaluation and measurement of PR activity using internal resource as well as agency support
Service media enquiries with quotes, picture/video assets etc as requested and exploit enquiries from tier one media against the team’s objectives.
Manage uploads to online press office.
Develop and update database of media contacts.
Daily review & log of press clippings from media monitoring services when relevant.
Manage relationship with media monitoring services.
Write and circulate internal PR reports, coverage summaries and updates for the company.
Present strategies and post-campaign analysis alongside PR & Mkt team to wider management teams as directed.
