Job Description

We are searching for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who want to play a part in continuing to develop an outstanding procurement team that collaboratively supports all the agencies.

Purchasing from the everyday to the bespoke, you will be working in an extraordinary procurement role, buying extraordinary goods and services.

About the role

In this role, you will lead challenging procurement projects in a major category area and manage an existing portfolio of agreements. You will ensure that projects are delivered effectively and on time, meeting all customer requirements. As part of this, you will work closely with customers in sensitive operational areas, maintaining contractual agreements for delivery of goods and services. With a focus on quality, we will also look to you to resolve contractual issues where necessary and collaborate effectively across the three agencies.

With strong procurement and supply acumen, you will also be skilled at category management approaches. You will be an inspirational communicator, easily able to build rapport and foster relationships with customers, suppliers and sponsors. As well as feeling at ease motivating, mentoring and coaching others, you will be keen to develop your own skills and, with our support, work towards a degree level qualification, MCIPS or business equivalent.
