We are looking for a digital Product Manager to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital.

We're driving a once-in-a-generation transformation of government products and services using fresh ideas and leading-edge technologies to create innovative, scalable and user-centric digital solutions on an epic scale.

Delivering World-Class Products

Right now we're changing how DWP works internally, moving from On-Premise Hosting to Hybrid Cloud Services.

We need a Product Manager who understands what it means to deliver products and solutions that will be used by teams of in-house engineers. One who works brilliant with and for deeply technical stakeholders and users.

It's a massive and important transformation for DWP, underpinning our hosting strategy, so this is a role with huge impact and legacy.

You'll help us deliver greater scalability, reusability for our engineers, as well as better value, through AWS, Azure, container technology. You'll need to thrive working with those sorts of technical requirements.

You'll also work closely with User Research and user centred design professionals, and do everything you'd associate with a PM role, from roadmaps and vision to roll-out.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

• You have developed product plans, solving problems in deploying and hosting applications in line wider and strategic decisions.
• You have worked across different teams and lines to effectively communicate a product vision and get stakeholders to buy in.
• You have managed a product through the different stages of the product lifecycle, using a different range of stakeholder engagement approaches at each stage.
• You have worked with users to articulate their needs and prioritized these to create a product backlog.
