About the department

GWR is looking for an innovative Product Marketing Executive to join the Global Product & Brand team to support with the development and maintenance of the global product portfolio, through to working on engagement and conversion campaigns. The team is responsible for the creation and development of all global consultancy products, content and marketing materials.


About the role

This role will span across various functions including brand, product and content - predominantly focussing on the B2B arm of GWR. The B2B arm of the business works with all types of businesses and organisations and therefore, you will face some unique and interesting marketing challenges. You will play a crucial role in supporting the global and regional teams to drive continued growth of our consultancy division, through product, journey creation and campaign execution.



Support the team to develop global go-to-market for key product launches and  marketing campaigns for our audiences. Including planning, project management, sales training and content development.
Support demand generation projects to optimise user journeys and product adoption.
Understand the voice of the customer. Conduct and analyse various market research, such as customer and industry trends to share with the wider business.
Craft compelling messaging and positioning for internally and externally facing product collateral. In some cases you’ll lead on things like design, in others you’ll be drafting the copy yourself.
Maintenance and regular updates of the Business Solutions section of the GWR website, always ensuring that content is fresh and representative of the product line we offer.
Maintenance and regular updates of key brand stats that are used across the business
Centralised status tracking and co-ordination across a number of projects for which we are responsible



Desired Skills and Experience


At least 2 years’ experience working within a marketing role, and an interest in gaining wider product marketing and development experience
Data-driven approach to analyse marketing data to maintain marketing personas and inform new product decisions
Experience/knowledge with marketing automation platforms and campaigns
Confident communicator and strong presenter
Strong copywriting skills
Flexible at moving between tasks and projects, ability to work-cross functionally
Excellent at building and maintaining relationships with regional marketing and sales teams
