We are looking for a Product Owner with the skills and knowledge to work with our infrastructure services team, managing multiple network services and products to ensure they are effective, efficient and secure for all users.

As a Product Owner within our infrastructure services team, you'll be responsible for managing products that are essential to a robust and effective infrastructure network running across the entire DWP digital landscape.

Together with a multidiscpinary team of expert engineers, analyst, researchers and more you'll provide reliable, flexible and secure services to colleagues and customers in over 850 DWP sites.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

  • You can develop effective relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively with colleagues across multi-functional teams.
  • You have good experience of effectively communicating at different levels across a range of stakeholders using a variety of methods including digital, written and verbal.
  • You have experience interpreting complex and/or technical information and give explanations to colleagues, stakeholders and customers adopting the most appropriate method of communication to simplify and ensure understanding.
  • You work well under pressure and make sure actions are completed on time.
  • You have experience of analysing and interpreting complex data, using sound judgement to recommend considered approaches to improve situations and tasks.
  • You deliver excellent customer service which balances quality and cost effectiveness.
  • The security clearance required for this role is SC. SC checks will be carried out prior to appointment.
