Professional Services Category Manager
Summary Description of Role
The Professional Services Category Manger reports to the Professional Services Category Lead and shall be responsible for ensuring that Pearson maximises value from the Professional Services spend across the Group whilst minimising risk. The individual will build strong, trusted relationships with internal stakeholders professionals to help the business deliver on both its’ tactical and strategic directives.
Scope
The candidate shall be responsible for the management and coordination of c. £100m per annum in third party spend across Professional Services. The Category Manager shall be responsible for sourcing, stakeholder management, category management, supplier relationship management and establishing guided buying channels enabling users to quickly and efficiently order from preferred suppliers.
