Mills & Reeve is pioneering a Project Management Graduate programme to develop the people we need to grow our business and develop our reputation for innovation. This is an exciting opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of legal services, develop your knowledge and skills and shape a career within one of the UK’s best places to work. The two year full time fixed term programme based in the firm’s Cambridge or Birmingham offices with frequent travel to other offices.
What does the Programme involve?
The programme is structured in a similar way to our award winning training contract for legal graduates and will give you the opportunity to undertake a number of ‘seat’ rotations in our Business Services teams across the firm’s practice areas, as well as in key projects. These projects will include internal projects run by the firm’s Project Management Office and client projects run by our Legal Project Management Office and are likely to include working on client collaboration technologies, document automation, process mapping, artificial intelligence and client specific solutions.
Along with the practical experience, at the end of your first year, the firm will sponsor you to complete the combined PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner course that is designed to give candidates a comprehensive overview of the PRINCE2® mythology, which is the most popular project management methodology in the UK. This will enable you to demonstrate and enhance your project management proficiency and contribute to an elevated business acumen, as well as enhance your career prospects.
