We’re looking for a project manager to help drive forward Macmillan's commitment to implementing and continually improving our approach in how we collect, utilise, and manage communication preferences captured through fundraising, marketing, and communications activity.
As project manager you will ensure we are implementing our new data protection policies and guidance across our consumer marketing activities, systems, and data collection points.
Working in the Strategic Marketing Planning department, you’ll work neutrally across Macmillan’s broad Fundraising, Marketing and Communications (FMC) Directorate to support the continued roll out of our consent and customer preferences through on and offline marketing channels.
You’ll be a key stakeholder in bridging technology and FMC to ensure the organisation collects, stores and utilises customer permissions in the most effective and compliant way. You will also work directly with marketing delivery departments, to ensure we are training staff and effectively testing and optimising data capture to protect income generation activities and ensure excellent supporter experience.
You will be responsible for managing one area of work but will also feed into a broader programme of work around GDPR compliance and will need to work collaboratively with other project managers to ensure work is prioritised, sequenced, and aligned.
You are a skilled project manager who has experience of delivering projects across a complex organisation and ideally within a marketing environment. You have strong leadership, relationship management and influencing skills and you are able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
You are an excellent communicator who has a passion for best practice project management and a desire to implement positive change which will make a real difference.
