Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
The Project Manager will define, scope, initiate and manage large departmental projects with moderate to high risk while supporting business, content and program management roles. The typical scale of any projects will be greater than 6 months, involve multiple cross functional members and be a project that is critical to the business unit meeting its objectives.
In particular this role undertakes several functions to ensure Content and Insight teams will achieve defined business goals for maintaining Real-time and Reference data. Through existing and new programmes of work there is a need to ensure all aspects of enhancing Infrastructure and Content data management systems continues to execute in a coordinated manner. A successful applicant will need to integrate between these parallel activities to achieve broader business goals to re-platform technology onto Cloud services, achieving a decrease in the delivery time for market events and increased maintenance efficiency.
Due to the highly inter-dependant but frequently decoupled nature of these schedules of work, this role will undertake a range of necessary activities to ensure all teams have transparency in co-dependent programmes; Executive financial and status reporting functions to wider stakeholders, identifying any conflicts and driving prioritisation decisions between various business functions whilst helping to ensure key deliverables are met.
The role will provide a broad and detailed insight into a range of Content, Business and Product functions via a diverse portfolio of activities and stakeholder engagement. Having an ability to demonstrate understanding of the relationships between various elements of the infrastructure and impact of decisions in respect to those products is considered critical.
