The Technical Project Manager in Testing Services is a key liaison through all stages of certification exam development for a broad portfolio of projects. The project manager's primary role is to manage projects to successful on-time, in-budget delivery of quality exam products.The Project Manger liaises with management and individual contributors, internal teams and 3rd party vendors in the content development, product management, content technologies, quality assurance, software development, localization and test publishing functions.

The Technical Project Manager works independently to execute a high volume of individual projects, creating and managing multiple project schedules, identifying and resolving problems, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordination across all functions. The Project Manager assists in determining the best execution strategies and manages their successful implementation while working within and continually improving established processes. The Project Manager will manage the content development and production processes for certification exam development from inception through release.

This is a fast paced, dynamic role with a diverse, supportive and engaged team. The ideal candidate will have experience with high-tech project management in the assessment or education space.


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent years in education and successful work experience in lieu of degree
  • 3-5 years of verifiable Project management experience
  • Experience working in technology project management is required
  • PMP & CSM active credentials are a plus

  • Woprking knowledge of various support tools (i.e., SharePoint, BaseCamp, Axosoft, Smartsheet)

  • Ability to meet ambitious deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule with multiple projects running simultaneously
  • Ability to think creatively, adapt to circumstances, learn from co-workers, and share information and experiences
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to make pragmatic, timely, and sound decisions
  • Proven negotiation, consensus-building, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work on a team and independently
  • Knowledge of project management methods and tools for Waterfall and Agile (Scrum) methodologies
  • High level technical writing and documentation skills
  • General knowledge of software development
  • Exposure to assessment content managment systems a plus.
