JOB PURPOSE

The Qualifications Admin Intern is a member of the Sales Operations unit within the Gulf and Levant territory who provides support to the sales and business development team for academic and vocational qualificationsensuring the smooth running of Pearson’s sales processes and operations, performing various administrative tasks to ensure fast and accurate response for customers and other internal stakeholdersin the Gulf andLevant territory.This role reports into the Sales Operations and Channel Manager.

Position Description:

Key Accountabilities:

  • Contact Centres to create awareness around Pearson’s events and assist attendees with training registrations and respond to their request for information
  • Coordinate with the events/training team in the UK and marketing team in Dubai around the qualifications events (venue, dates, training packs)
  • Support the marketing team in the promotion and implementation of Pearson Training events.
  • Act as a bridge between the Centres and the customer services team to sort some urgent issues.
  • Helps in the logistics of the Higher Achiever Awards (data analysis of high achievers, prepare and print certificates for all the awardees, send them to the Centres, etc.)
  • Assist and coordinate implementation training events for new BTEC centres
  • Actively maintain/update Academic and Vocational Centres list, contact details and delivered qualifications for Pearson
  • Help the sales team with filling and submitting the Centre Approval applications
  • Assist with invoices generating and bad debt collection and credit process

Candidate Profile

Competencies

(A) Profile (e.g. required experience, knowledge, qualifications, etc.)

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher Educational background
  • No experience required. Experience in admin or accounting is a plus.

(B) Skills & Competences

  • Competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision
  • Self-motivated and keen learner
  • Well-developed computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet and email applications.
  • Excellent relationships management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including historical sales analysis, pricing, and forecasting.
  • Excellent spoken and written command of English (and Arabic preferably).
