Job Description:


As Quality Assurance Engineer you will be part of Development Team dedicated to deliver one of Pearson biggest LMS. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • planning, designing and carrying out automated functional tests
  • reporting test results
  • quality assurance of created software
  • close cooperation with other members of Scrum team, other Scrum teams and departments
  • Planning, designing and carrying out manual functional tests on for created software

Qualifications

Requirements:


  • knowledge of software testing techniques
  • knowledge of techniques for writing case studies and test scenarios
  • knowledge of automated testing tools and experience in the area
  • knowledge of software quality assurance
  • basic knowledge of SQL andPHP, Java Script or other programming language
  • fluent English

Also a plus:


  • ISTQB/ISEB Certificate
  • knowledge of SVN or GIT version control systems
  • knowlage of CI tools like Jenkins or Bamboo
