Do you want be a part of an exciting new initiative that will make a real difference to people’s lives?
You can this at St Andrew’s Healthcare
A top 20 UK charity, St Andrew’s is a unique provider of specialist care in mental health and learning disability. We aspire to deliver truly world class, holistic services within our outstanding, modern facilities. Our independence means we can always put patients’ interests at the heart of decision making, while re-investing surpluses in frontline services.
The Recovery College, known as REDS Academy, is a new initiative offered to patients, carers and staff which provides self-management and wellbeing-focussed courses that build hope and help improve lives. The courses are educational and designed and delivered in partnership with people with lived experience of mental illness. Our pilot term launched in Northampton last year and has recently expanded into the remaining three St Andrew’s Healthcare sites.
In this exciting and unusual administrative role, you will have the opportunity to use your creativity and attention to detail to design marketing materials to promote the Recovery College to patients, carers and staff using a variety of posters and online communications.
A large part of this role will be to manage the day to day administration for courses, including monitoring the college mailbox, receiving and inputting data from application forms and maintaining an accurate database of student attendance. Although there are some processes and procedures in place, you will be able to develop them and make them your own. With a focus on achieving the best outcomes for students, you will also be responsible for sending, collecting and collating course feedback forms to inform the design and improvement of courses.
As the Administrator you will be responsible for communicating with the wards to ensure they know which patients have enrolled on courses and will be attending each day. Trainers will rely on you to help them prepare for courses and assist them at training sessions if required.
You will be confident working independently to a high standard of accuracy, and be excited by the opportunity to develop this role into your own. Your creativity and ability to produce marketing materials will be essential to the role, as will your strong MS Office skills.
We’re looking for someone with dedicated time management skills, able to juggle multiple responsibilities. You will be driven to providing excellent customer service to our students and your colleagues.
If this sounds like you then we’d love you to apply here.
